Southern Cruises Past Spring Hill College

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Jaguars went 35-of-78 shooting from the field (44.9 percent) and 9-of-29 from 3PT (31.0 percent).
- SU was led by Mcwain  (6-12 FG, 4-7 3PT) who finished with 16 points and Tyeniesha Metcalf  (7-10 FG, 1-2 3PT) added 15 points.
- Kyanna Morgan (4-12 FG, 1-5 3PT) chipped in nine points along with eight steals. Chloe Fleming (4-4 FG, 0-1 FT) and Diamond Hunter  (3-8 FG, 1-2 FT) finished the night with eight points each. 
- Twelve Jaguars scored in the contest
- Spring Hill College shot 16-of-39 from the field (41.0 percent) and 5-of-13 from 3PT (38.5 percent). 
- Southern pulled down 42 rebounds, including 20 on the defensive side of the glass.
- Spring Hill College registered 35 rebounds, with 27 coming on the defensive end. 
- The Jaguars also went 5-for-13 from the free-throw line.
- The Badgers sank 17-of-27 from the charity stripe.
- Southern finished the night with fourteen assist and twenty-four steals.
- Louisiana State University-Shreveport came away with three steals and six assists.

Southern will be back in action on Sunday, December 11th as they head to the Big Easy to take on Tulane University Green Wave inside Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. Tipoff is slated for 2 PM.
