BATON ROUGE, LA -- Southern Lady Jaguars picks up their second straight victory on Mondasy night as the dismantle Louisiana State University - Shreveport 77-36 inside F. G. Clark Activity Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southern jumped out to a quick 9-2 lead in the first quarter and never looked back taking a 19-6 first quarter lead.
- Amani Mcwain hits a long range jumper from behind the arc to give the Jags a 20-point lead in the second quarter, 32-12.
- Kiara Collins hits a 3-point jumper to close out the first half to cut the Jaguars lead to 17 point at the half, 38-21.
- The Jaguars defensive intensity was too much for the Pilots as Southern pulled away for a 60-32 lead at the end of the third quarter.
- The Jaguars outscored the Pilots 17-4 in the fourth quarter, sealing the 77-36 victory.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Jaguars went 29-of-56 shooting from the field (51.8 percent) and 12-of-20 from 3PT (60.0 percent).
- SU was led by Tyeniesha Metcalf (5-5 FG, 3-3 3PT) who finished with a season-high 15 points and Amani Mcwain (4-7 FG, 3-5 3PT) added 12 points.
- Aleighyah Fontenot (4-8 FG, 2-4 3PT) chipped in ten points and Kyanna Morgan (3-4 FG, 2-2 3PT) and Sirviva Legions (3-8 FG, 2-3 FT) finished the night with eight points each.
- Eleven Jaguars scored in the contest
- Louisiana State University-Shreveport shot 14-of-49 from the field (28.6 percent) and 1-of-16 from 3PT (6.3 percent).
