"We are moving in the right direction, and it feels good to get our first SWAC win at home," Coach Vanessa Jacobs said about the game. "The recreational center has been really well to us. We had a great crowd here to support us."
The first set the Jaguars were on the attack winning 25-14. They finished the game with 13 kills and two aces.
Nya Campbell led the charge with six kills.
In the second set SU continued to dominate this time winning 25-17.

The third set was tightly contested. SU jumped out to a 15-10 lead, but the Lady Panthers came back to take a 19-17 lead. That caused Coach Jacobs to call a time out. The Jags responded taking the next three points. After a PV timeout, SU closed out the game taking five of the final seven points.
The Jaguars finished the match with 40 kills and six aces.
Doomes and
Campbell both lead the charge with 11 kills each.
Trenity Lundy and

"We need to cut down on our service errors," Coach Jacobs said about moving forward. "Our hitting and block were really well. If we can cut down on our service errors, we can force the other team to make some errors."
