Baton Rouge, LA. -- The Southern University Volleyball team battled Jackson State University in a thrilling five set conference matchup Sunday afternoon at Clifford Seymour Gymnasium.
The Jaguars (1-2, 1-2 SWAC), were coming off their first conference win versus GSU and led 2-1 vs JSU (1-0, 1-0 SWAC) before falling in five sets.

Senior
Princess Stark led the team with eight kills, 21 assist and added 14 digs.
Kennedy Joubert finished with 27 digs and four assist while
Jada Carter had 11 digs, seven kills and two blocks.
Ryleigh Taylor finished with 11 assist and two aces.
SU finished with a total of 42 kills, 78 digs, 39 assists, eight blocks and five service aces.
UP NEXT
The Lady Jaguars will be back in action at home on Tuesday, February 8 against Mississippi Valley State University. First serve is set for 6:00 pm.
