Jaguars Help with Hurricane Relief

Baton Rouge, La. – Representatives from five teams helped load Football's equipment truck full of supplies Friday evening with plans on leaving Saturday morning to deliver to Reserve, La.

Athletes from Baseball, Bowling, Softball, Tennis, and Women's Basketball headed over to Second Baptist Church to pick up donations before making a second stop at New Hope Baptist. The two locations were able to combine to fill the truck up. The Truck is full of essentials including water, food, cleaning supplies, clothes, and necessities for infants.

Reserve was in the direct path of Hurricane Ida when it made landfall on August 29. The devastation left thousands without power for weeks. Clean up and repair is expected to last for months.

The truck will deliver the supplies to St. Peter Catholic Church Saturday morning.
