BATON ROUGE, LA -- The Jaguars jumped out to a fast start in the first half and never looked back, as they go on to dominate Alabama A&M 67-46 Monday night at the F. G. Clark Activity Center.

Micah Bradford led the way finishing the night with 13 points, game high six assist and five rebounds. Junior
Lamarcus Lee chipped in 11 points, six rebounds and game high three steals. Senior
Amel Kuljuhovic added nine points while Junior
Ahsante Shivers contributed eight points and five rebounds.
Darius Williams finished with seven points and game high eight rebounds.
The Jaguars defense forced the Bulldogs to 23 turnovers picking up 21 points off the turnovers. SU played thirteen players with twelve of them landing in the scoring column. SU had the lead for 39 minutes of the contest, the biggest lead was 26 points with 4:20 left to go in the game. Southern shot 46 percent for the game (25-54) and 20 percent from behind the arc (2-10). SU shot 65 percent from the charity stripe finishing (15-23).
Southern's record is 8-13, 5-3 in SWAC play
