Dr. Vincent Shaw, Jr., ABFP, CAQ, a native of Opelousas, Louisiana, received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Southern University A&M College and his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.

Dr. Shaw is the Program Director of the Baton Rouge General Family Medicine Residency Program and the Baton Rouge General Sports Medicine Fellowship program. He is a team physician for a local high school, Louisiana State University, and Southern University.

He enjoys triathlons, Crossfit, and marathons and reading.
