Southern University

Jessie Watts enters her third season as the assistant softball coach at Southern University. 
 
Watts’ primary role is to work with pitchers, catchers, and infielders.
 
Prior to coaching, Jessie was a four-year starter at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Watts started 144 games for the Warhawks. During that time, Coach Watts received her undergraduate and master's degree while also being a 3 time Academic All-American. 
 
Jessie is blessed with a beautiful daughter, Aari.
