Our Mission
Southern University Department of Athletics mission is to represent the university, its culture and traditions, alumni and supporter by leading the way in athletic competition, academic pursuit and community engagement.
Our Goal
Southern University Department of Athletics is presenting a series of fundraising events designed to increase alumni engagement and giving in an effort to advance student scholastic and athletic achievement. We recognize that we cannot do this without the support. Rather than a traditional means of asking for donations – we invite you to come out, enjoy yourselves and party with a purpose with the Southern University Athletic Director, Roman Banks.
Beneficiary
The Southern University Department of Athletics is the beneficiary of the overtime series. Proceeds from the event will be used to support department operations, student-athlete scholarships, student recruitment, retention and other vital athletic related initiatives.
