HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Southern University bowling team closed the Southwestern Athletic Conference Round-Up on a strong note, picking up three wins at Pin Palace Lanes to secure a fourth-place finish in the regular-season standings.

Southern opened the day in dominant fashion with an 863–553 victory over Grambling.
Alanna Jones led all bowlers with a 188, followed by Maria Molina Diaz at 180.
Angel Stein added a 174, while
Za'Viara Williams contributed a 170 to round out the balanced performance for the Lady Jaguars.

The lone setback of the day came against Alabama A&M, as Southern fell 896–825. Jones once again paced the Lady Jaguars with a 179, while Stein followed closely with a 177.

Southern quickly rebounded with a thrilling 857–853 win over SWAC champion Jackson State. Molina Diaz led the way with a 189,
Darian Mobley rolled a 179, and Stein continued her steady day with a 175.

The Lady Jaguars closed the Round-Up with another decisive victory, defeating Prairie View A&M 881–799. Stein capped off the day with a team-high 190, while Mobley posted a 177, Molina Diaz added a 175, and Williams recorded a 170.

Molina Diaz wrapped up the SWAC regular season with a 183.43 average, totaling 4,219 pins over 23 games. Her performance ranked seventh overall in the conference and earned her Second Team All-SWAC honors
