HOW IT HAPPENED
SU 10 – UAPB 2
- UAPB scored the game's first two runs in the first and third innings.
- The Lady Jaguars bounced back with three runs of their own in the fourth to take the lead.
- The fifth inning proved to be the deciding factor as SU scored seven runs in the fifth inning to open the lead and end the game in only five innings.
- The Lady Jaguars had 22 plate appearances with ten hits and four left on base.
SU 7 – UAPB 5
- The Lady Jaguars opened the game with runs scored in the first, second and fourth innings taking a 5-0 lead.
- UAPB closed the gap after scoring a run in the fourth followed by four runs scored in the sixth.
- Not to be outdueled, the Lady Jags responded with two more runs in the sixth inning making it a 7-4 lead.
- UAPB scored the game's final run in the seventh, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Lady Jaguars.
- The Lady Jaguars had 26 plate appearances with nine hits and nine left on base.
SU 7 – UAPB 6
- The Lady Jaguars had a 2-0 lead after one full inning.
- UAPB would go on to score runs in the second and fourth innings taking over the lead 3-2.
