HOW IT HAPPENED
SU 3 – ASU 1
- With no runs scored during the first three innings, the Lady Braves scored the contests first run in the fourth inning.

Julia York scored the first run for the Lady Jaguars in the fifth with a single to left field by
Alissa Castaneda.
- SU scored two more runs in the seventh to capture the lead and eventually the win in game one.
- The Lady Jaguars had 26 plate appearances with five hits and four left on base.
SU 6 – ASU 7
- The Lady Jaguars opened the game with two runs scored during the first two innings.
- Alcorn State responded with five runs scored between the second and fourth innings to make the score 5-2.
- SU had a huge fifth inning scoring four runs to regain the lead at 6-5.
- Alcorn State scored the game's final two runs in the seventh to tie the series at 1-1.
- The Lady Jaguars had 30 plate appearances with 12 hits and six left on base.
SU 0 – ASU 7
- The Lady Jaguars was held scoreless for the eight time this season.
- The Lady Braves scored runs in the first, third and sixth innings.
